Mega: Robin Camille Davis is the Emerging Technologies & Online Learning Librarian at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY), where she leads web projects in the library and supports information literacy instruction in online classes. She consults with faculty regarding digital learning, designs student-centered outreach events and activities, and provides reference across a wide range of subjects. She earned her MA in Computational Linguistics from the CUNY Graduate Center and her MLIS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she was a Data Curation for the Humanities fellow. Her research interests include web preservation, digital literacy, and textual analysis through machine learning. She writes the “Internet Connection” column for Behavioral & Social Sciences Librarian, has given presentations internationally at library and humanities conferences, and is active on Twitter as @robincamille.
